Creative Movement is a fun, new dance class designed for younger students to learn basic technique movements. They will also learn how to connect with music while exploring their own creativity. This 45-minute class will pack it all in! Technique, creativity, and fun!
Dance Movement: Elevate your child's dance skills with our new movement class for kids ages 6-8! Take their passion to the next level in a structured, energetic setting. Great for kids who have taken Creative Movement, but are ready for a little more dance.
We’ll focus on all the proper techniques of jazz, lyrical, modern and ballet dance (jazz walks, pirouettes, jumps, etc) -- contemporary dance styles. This is a great class for youth who want a bit less structure than ballet but more technique than hip-hop. Most students are barefoot, but jazz or ballet shoes can be worn. This is a beginning class geared towards kids ages 9-13.
